  • Decent dinosaur flick

I must say that I did expect to see a movie that was a lot worse. It's a cheap exploitation-movie OK, but it could have been a lot worse. Ir read that they used footage from the three Carnosaur-movies, but they did that rather well. Eric Roberts plays his role as a sheriff in a way you would expect in this kind of film, but does a better job than most exploitation-actors. Lorissa McComas is great as the daughter. It would have been better if she'd died a horrific death, because I'm sure she would be great at it. Melissa Braselle was OK as well. The "bad guys", however, were pretty lame.It was a big mistake to let the "evil professor" wear such a silly hat. I mean, if you're going for stereotypes, don't be afraid to pick up the bald German professor again. When people are watching a cheapo flick, it doesn't matter... we *do* want to see what we expect to see. Originality is OK, but only in the butcheries ;-) No, seriously: I enjoyed Raptor. I didn't *love* it. I don't recommend it to people. I'm just glad it wasn't a lot worse.

  • Bad exploitation, not the worst

Making a quick buck on the death of the great Bruce Lee? This is it. I've seen Bruce-exploitation movies that were worse. At least this one has some kind of a story. The movie starts about a guy who is asked to finish a Bruce Lee movie. They show him the movie. But this movie is a complete movie and after that movie-within-the-movie the whole movie is done. It's disturbing. The most boring part of the film is when the main character has to climb a tower and fight some martial arts experts on every floor. Really, really boring. The scriptwriters didn't do a lot of effort here. A lot of story lines are being started up, just to be forgotten about afterward. What happens to the money? What happens to the brother and his girlfriend? Who called the police? Who's that other bad guy (the one from Korea) and what becomes of him? I would have been a lot better if they'd make a kung fu movie without trying to jump on the Bruce Lee wagon and get the screenplay right.

  • Not even a movie

This movie is no tribute to Bruce Lee whatsoever. It's not even a martial arts film. It's not even a "film". It's bad. There is not plot,no decent acting, just cutting and pasting from other movies and some people "saying" Bruce Lee might be killed by some 'touch of death' and a reporter hanging out at a karate contest (that you only get to see from a distance). You shouldn't watch this film. It's not even cult. The only reason they made this movie was to be able to print Bruce Lee on the cover and because they were hoping it would sell. Anyone could have made a Bruce Lee-tribute that's better than this "thing". Don't see it. Don't buy it. Don't give it to people you like.
