I wasn't wild about going to see this - but this had a neat mix of the horror of being exposed to large violent dinosaurs, and human greed, but also to people fascinated by what they are seeing and experiencing. There is tragedy, but also highs, and the chasing of something good for the people of this world, and not wanting to exterminate things that don't have to be. Overall, the filming was great, with great scenery, though we did not have the opportunity to view it in the Titan technology, that would have been too long of a wait. But in the regular theater it was still awesome, though I did think a couple of the distant cloud type scenes, with the clouds being very distant, looked a bit fake. The CGI was very impressive, the dinosaur scenes. My friend also thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
This is a "funny"movie in many scenes, but it also is thought provoking as Madea does make damn good points about people, and her faith, and what she believes in - Inspirational in a cut-through-the-crap sort of way - actors all gave great performances. This may be the best of the Madea series, though I do have a high opinion of some of the others in the series also. It has many things that remain relevant to this day, and probably long in the future. Movies like this make you think about what is really important - as well as healing after a terrible ordeal. This is a movie I would not mind watching fairly often.
Didn't feel well, wanted to just sit and watch movies, watched the 2 "Billy Owens" movies - I think many are way too critical of these movies. For me, the child actors were good performers, as were the adult actors for the most part. This was obviously much lower budget than any of the Harry Potter films - If these movies had more of a budget, who knows how well these movies could have been made. The plot was a bit weak, but still entertaining - the filming was done well, this definitely was NOT one of the worst filmed movies I have ever seen. I like watching varied films - blockbusters, and not-so blockbusters - there was still a lot of effort that went into these movies (though not nearly as much as I would have liked) - and I was entertained, enough to look the cast up in imdb and other databases, and see what else these actors have done, I don't think most of them ever intended to do movies as a career.
