I played the game both 1 and 2 it was long ago. I don't remember all the details so this movie is sort just a reminiscing to me. Not really a die hard fanatic type anyways.
So back to the movie, it's mediocre at best but not all the bad to me. So what's wrong about it for me are the ff:
Good:
To me I still think it is good acceptable movie if you forget the game. Yeah it's poor adaptation from the game overall but if you're just a simple dude who just wanna have a blast watching a movie without thinking about the game then you might just still enjoy it.
So back to the movie, it's mediocre at best but not all the bad to me. So what's wrong about it for me are the ff:
- Character representation mismatched (Lilith is younger in the game and she's too old here but not that bad. Roland is a tall and here he is short."
- The pandora world looks like so obviously unrealistic. Like low quality green screen lols
- Missing other characters from the game
- A rundown simplified plot, could have been a 2 and a half hour movie. Or part 1 and 2.
- Need more guns guns guns since borderlands was so much looting of guns guns 😂
Good:
- Still feels Borderlands even with it's flaws
- Clap Trap still being funny Clap Trap
- Still crazy action but felt underwhelming and short to be honest.
- Lilith played it well despite an old version of her lols.

Road Fury left with many questions of Furiosa and this one is the answer we were all hoping for. Right? Well yes and no. Wait, what? Yeah, that's right!
Yes, Furiosa movie gave us a good back story, sure it did. Like where Furiosa came from, what was her life before Road Fury, how did she survived all this time, how did she lost her arm and some more.
No, because it gave more a lot of plot holes and questions also. Like what happened to the place of abundance, how did she just instantly became a nobody to somebody after escaping being a wife, did she went back to the place of abundance from her childhood and many more.
It was good action flick movie but not as grandure as Road Fury was. And seem to ended also with Road Fury events which is weird. It felt like the movie was setup for a sequel but doesn't.
I like the movie but I also find it confusing.
