  • Why are sons ever kidnapped?

Why is it always the daughters that are taken, kidnapped, or killed?

Okay, not always, but you could easily name ten films whose premise relies on the abduction or death of a female child in an attempt to extort or force a father-figure to do something, can't you? Twenty films, even.

Now, name ten, but reverse the sexes, a boy child, a mother-figure.

MY POINT please stop making films where the premise is based on the abuse, abduction, and/or death of a female, especially by a man. That's not movie-making, or entertainment, it's more like reality. The male savior has been done, too.

    WRITE BETTER.

  • Well written, fun, and engaging!

I love the game, and that I can participate in it. Patton is funny, energetic, self-depreciating, and charismatic and he engages and interacts well with the participants; perfect choice for this setting. The players all have interesting personalities and biographies and are varied demographically, socially and culturally.

The questions and puzzles, at times, are maddening when the answer is revealed. I really get this, "Oh, duh!" feeling. But it feels so fantastic when I manage to nail the tough questions.

I can't imagine that I'd make it through to the 1%, but I will definitely keep shouting out my answers to the television.

    More, please!

  • More, please.

It's not vulgar, there's no violence against anyone or defense of items of war, nor any willingness to go to war, and episodes don't involve kidnapping a woman to kickoff the theme of this week's show, which is remarkably similar to last week's, if we were watching, well, fill in the blank. Movies love that over used trope, too.

But here, in this quiet, fresh, funny, part of the universe, you can sit back and relax and watch a show that makes you feel good and think about things for just a few more seconds because they've renamed almost everything with funny vocabulary.

The storylines are heartwarming not terrifying or heartbreaking or disgusting or even disturbing. So, yes, if, your life is so bent, that you can't cool down and breathe easy, if you can't laugh at quirky, and you need adrenaline and blood, guts, murder, office-gossip, and hatred, it's no wonder that you don't approve of this wonderful show. Too bad; it's awesome.
