This is a poor copy of The Pitt, which is a much superior show. Ok, no spoilers, but here is the show:
1. Poor, poor dialog. It's almost too cheesy, which only makes the unbelievable personality conflicts even more unbelievable.
2. Acting is poor. No one comes off as believable doctors. They deliver their lines really stiff and monotone. This poor acting makes you feel nothing for the characters and lends to this being an unlikable series.
3. Lots of ME TOO and completely unbelievable reaction to bad situations. Again, no spoilers, but makes you want to throw a brick at the screen when they insult our intelligence as an audience.
So far, so bad, but will hate watch another episode and see if it gets worse.

Ok, his shtick is getting really old. Yes, he has his go to "Machine" bit, the movie was miserable and not enjoyable, but that it. Unlike his podcast partner Tom S and most other powerful and success comdians, who evolve and have developed new material, Bert just falls to the same stuff (his frat days, what a great athlete was/is, blah blah blah). Delivery is the same, the bits are pretty much the same. Do we really need you to rip off your shirt every single performance? Yes, some chuckles here and there, but for the most part it was pretty boring. Would love to see him venture out and push his boundaries a bit. Push the envelop and give us something new and refreshing.
I've given this show 2 full episodes, and it just doesn't live up to the original. The cast is very good-looking and act well enough, but tend to seem stiff and/or overact. I guess the biggest complaint is that the cast lacks chemistry and charm from the original.
The pro bono lawyer and them being entertainment lawyers doesn't seem to work. In addition to the lack of chemistry between the cast, the storylines are really weak. There is the underlying crisis of keeping the dying firm together and to grow it. The struggle to get and keep clients, and the supporting characters, don't work. I end up not caring, because the main characters just aren't likeable.
Overall, not a great show and a super slow start. The worst is the Josh McDermitt. He is sooooo into overacting and the storyline is so unbelievable.
