Levar Burton is an okay actor, but game shows need hosts, not actors reading the hosts' lines. It is exactly what was wrong with Mayam Bialik when she hosted Jeopardy! She had no personality: Burton has no personality. His constant mentioning of how great the contestants are really gets annoying. Trivial Pursuit was a fun board game. It's boring television.
