I watched Slam with my girlfriend and we both liked it, even though, it might be a movie for a younger audience. There was a decent suspense in the movie, the story was cute and we were not bored for a single minute. Editing is very good, and overall it is a very motivational and a good-vibe movie. The director did a wonderful job, the cast was great and main characters are very sympathetic. Slam was a good Saturday night time waster.
I watched this movie at a festival, in my city, and both me and the audience were pleased after the ending. I wish there is more movies like this one, its story is set in a very distant future, but in that future, nature took over and humans are practically living in a post apocalyptic world. Humans are divided into clans where food and water is scarce. A charismatic guy named Cygnus is trying to save his people and this movie is about his journey. The script is very well written, and I liked the ambiance, the scenery is perfect, and all the actors did a decent job in portraying their roles. I strongly recommend viewers to give this movie a chance, I give it a 9/10 star rating !!!
There is a lot more to Olympus than meets the eye. Above all Daedalus is an episode that like all others focuses on building on top of the previous one. I like the use of sound in this episode such as in the introduction. This is something that I believe Olympus has always done really well with, and that's the reason why I give the filmmakers the biggest support for making this finely entertaining episode. The music in the beginning after the opening scene is very mysterious and creates a mood that very much feels like fate on the inside. On the downside I feel that the introduction is a little too long, and the escape is so obvious too. I mean if the enemy is smart enough in the TV show he would've seen it from far away. I just don't buy some of the scenes like this because they just seem too gullible for me to believe whatsoever. Apart from that the episode has a lot of positive sides to it and I would still watch it. Despite everything the episode has spectacular promising qualities.
