I enjoy Tyler Perry movies but normally he likes to go for the tearjerker, silly and everybody wins in the end, and I really hate that. Because that's not how life works but this movie! Oh child! This movie! He truly knocked it out of the ball park this time. Teraji as always outdid herself and Sherry gave a phenomenal performance. I did not see that twist coming at all. TP ended it just when he should although I would've liked to know what happens after, but that's normally what kills his endings, us wanting the happy ending then we hate him for it. Outstanding! Outstanding! Outstanding! I will recommend this movie to everyone I know.
Just finished watching the 2 seasons of this series. I honestly thought it'd be dumb cheesie but it had such good twists and turns. The Dax/Victor storyline didn't make sense (how long were they there) And Victor's rage and pointed words were justified, I wish i could hurt someone the way he did Dax. The other storylines were so good.
Too bad it didn't get a 3rd season. I would've like to find out where TP was taking it. I thought I'd really hate the mother but I saw her and understood her pain. Rebel kept getting warned but just didn't wanna listen. And what's the deal with Heather Locklears makeup, who hated her? They should've used her more.
