"The Rainforests Are Under Threat" is a beautiful documentary that should raise awareness about the threats facing the rainforests in Peru. The Peru rainforests are actually a part of much larger Amazon rainforests that are also called the "lungs" of our planet, because they produce more than 25% of all the oxygen. The movie talks about the climate change, uncontrolled deforestation, gold miners, air pollution that all affects the rainforests in a very negative way. Those forests are a real treasure of our planet and we should do everything we can to protect it. There should be more movies like this one and I highly recommend it to anyone carrying about our mother Earth. 10 stars from me, well deserved!!!
Animated movies have that something inside that makes them special more than any other movies available on the film market. The movie Pixies tells the story of an average mechanic named Joe Beck who just wants to live in peace. For a long time his life seems to be fairly alright until mysterious things turn his life upside down. The only downside that I'm detecting is that the story could have had more combat and action scenes. Even though the main audience involves kids it still could be more suspenseful. As an example Harry Potter was a fantasy book and yet it still contained some violence in its workings. Though it will still be loved by children and cartoon enthusiasts.
Why is it only a half hour? I don't get it. That's probably my only complaint. Fortunately for me, I started watching at the end of all 6 first episodes when HLN did a marathon of them all back to back. It was three hours of great television. I always enjoy a good laugh every once in a while. Jack Vale and his family are wonderful and talented artists of comedy. They can make you laugh so hard you wouldn't believe. Above all they have the gift of humor, and I think that he is a really talented comedian. It's hard to find some family friendly comedy these days. When I watched Jack Vale I felt like I got exactly what I was doing. It's difficult to find good comedians these days. People think that being a comedian is easy, but it actually takes a lot of skill to know how to make people laugh. Jack Vale possesses all of those skills and makes me laugh before he even manages to finish the line.
