The plot and writing were so bad I actually looked up whether it was supposed to be campy. While there's some good action at the end, the writing and plot felt like they were written in 1975 by someone who knew as much about AI as someone from... 1975. The awful plot is practically told to you instead of coming through in the progression of the film, as if we were 10 year olds.
I can't help but wonder what it means about our society when a movie with a plot that seems written by an 8 year old, awful dialogue, and action scenes that are laughably impractical are overlooked because there are attractive people dressed well in pretty places.
This movie seems to go out of its way to be implausible. Scenes like extended violence while unsuspecting club dancers seem totally unbothered left me rolling my eyes and confused about what others are seeing when they rate this movie so highly.
I sure hope this isn't part of a trend in movie writing and that movies with at least basic plausibility are still appreciated.

I enjoyed the first season of Bosch Legacy, which felt like a continuation of Bosch. What it does differently is, instead of some sense of satisfying season conclusion, most of the storylines are still unresolved. I had to double check the number of episodes, since it in no way felt like a season finale. I'm imagining they were insecure about fans returning, so they scratched a satisfying season conclusion.
