This show makes my wife cry...and my entire family, young and old, watch riveted the entire time. It is quality TV where you can learn how to survive very serious situations that can happen to anyone in life. The United States has natural disasters, many, and this riveting show tells the stories of survivors and those not so fortunate. You will never forget the stories you hear as well as possibly yell s you watch along.
One of the best nature shows for teens and adults with both knowledge and humor. It is like listening to Attenborough with his enthusiasm, watching the "Wild Kingdom" episodes of my youth with Marlon Perkins commenting, giving knowledge and insight, and yet, Reynolds adds the brash cynical wit of Deadpool to his narrative as well. The whole family loved it, laughed heartily and yet learned more about our natural world. Great entertainment yet the show leaves you with the satisfaction of learning something too. I would say it is okay preteen and up. I have enjoyed every episode with the theme involving a light parody of the "Unusual Suspects" as my favorite.
This is the view beforehand! The view you get is a well-shot, entertaining, and immersive doc plainly showing the city of Berlin before the rise of Hitler. It is free, happy, energetic, and in its original glory. You are taken on quite a ride through a day in the life of the city, showing everything from its quainter, plainer, even sadder side to its eclectic, wealthier, more playful, even dramatic locales. I quite enjoyed the ride and I believe the whole family would too. It is a great teaching tool for how WWII, and Hitler in particular changed society, and not for the better. Worth a watch for any age, generation, or time period.
