This is a result of not listening to parents and thinking you know it all. You want to date a rapper for millionaire lifestyle. Not knowing youll be passed around and treated like meat.
The show was very uncensored and not for kids. Portraying rape, abuse and sex. Its sad to see but this happens and many women have been sold into adult entertainment and adult work. Just because they want to be independent. You should leave your parents house when youre an adult and get married. Old traditions die hard but so do its victims. Unfortunately this show is more for TV acting was okay but areas are not gritty enough to fit its dark portrayal.
What makes this worse is i knew someone like this, I never talk about it to anyone. Fast money comes with slow permanent problems!

Ive been watching F1 Drive to Survive series. If you wanted to learn anything about F1, its history or get any technical nouse. This is a waste of time. Cookie cutter youtube type clips and dramatisation. Lost opportunity i think. I started on season 6. I have seen some bits from season 1. Seems to focus on the drivers, teams etc only on a surface level.
There is no debt, technical side or know how. Its a missed opportunity to bring geeky, technical people to the audience. Youll get a couple of new fans who could care less about any numbers relating to F1. Theres a big crowd that would like to know more like why one car is slower than the other, why one driver lacks certain skills or what areas need improvement. We rarely get to hear about drag coefficients, weight of the car. That FiA governs strictly the way the cars are designed and built.
We dont learn nothing about F1 and its a great shame and missed opportunity. Im loosely interested but will not watch it. This is due to it not being a pure racing sport but a team racing sport. Which in effect affects drivers behaviour and makes me think politics and silly rules ruin the spirit of F1. Also the newer F1 cars sound rubbish to meet emissions standards.
I respect the sport but not for me. Its not part of my conversations with people. Also look who has access to it. Top 1% exclusively. People dont seem to see anything wrong with this. But the layman props up an industry their kids wont have a chance to get into without money or real connections.

Great insight, ive always had great respect for this industry. It was an option for career especially when i moved to the States. Im also a lifelong fan.
Ofcourse I remember Al Snow, he was a great character and now runs OVW. The owner trying to keep the books adding up so people can get paid and managing egos day to day. Its not an easy task. I can see the owners point or view as a business man trying to create opportunities and keep the hooks balanced. I can also see the ambition of young talent and motivations and/or contentment of the senior wrestlers to keep OVW going. Haley J and Shera are really good people I can relate to. I hope they succeed.
The staff are just people who wish to chase their dreams. You can tell its not purely about money as some know they won't be rich off it. Seeing how battered, bruised and scarred this profession causes on the body you can only hold your hat and respect it. Its a shame many just see it as pure pantomime. The physical exertion, commitment and discipline it takes has to be commended. This show highlights the sacrifices people make to entertain and put on a show. The management and organization that goes into it.
In real life it very similar. Someone gets a promotion where others dont. Someone becomes a poster boy or champion for the company where others await their opportunities. Someone gets the attention and focus where others more deserving dont. Either way the bigger picture is goal of the business. So fans are able to see themselves in these guys. Theres a story to tell and that story is what keeps people engaged with the product.
Its a great documentary and well done to Netflix. Shows like these are what will save their network from crashing and burning. Hopefully it can inspire some, bring new fans in and enthuse the next generation. Maybe in the next life id be a wrestler, but ill always be a fan of what i see as a big part of American culture. Professional Wrestling.
Season 2 Please!
