The Crusher family is annoying. The visiting doctor is a gross jerk. Ok so a lot of stuff here.
Worf is hurt, can't walk. Wants to die with honor. Abandon his kid for honor? Then his dumb kid is there saying "yes sir" all the time. Blah blah. But here is my big problem, they go ahead with a life threatening and risky surgery. The doctors and the nurse is all wrapped up and sterilized. Yet Worf is laying on the table with his hair just flopped out right where they are making an incision. Hmm... that's just sloppy and unacceptable.
Why did this happen? They can warp across the galaxy, transporters can phase people up and down to and from planets. But there are no nanites or cloned organs?
Meh ok I'm gonna shut up. I just found this Crusher heavy episode to be annoying.

I'm just an average adult X generation man with a lot of love for Science Fiction. Having supplied a small explanation of myself I'd like to say the following.
In my very own opinion I think this episode was perfectly balanced. We had an intriguing storyline that allowed for light hearted fun along with discovery. The growth of the planets inhabitants, watching them develop and have faith and doubts about their "sky ship" definitely reflects the human species here on earth.
The prime directive was followed, however just being pulled into that position had great effect on the planets inhabitants.
Seeing them grow, and reach their own potential and surpassing their visitors in the "sky ship" ie: Voyager gives me hope for our own future.
This is what Star Trek is supposed to be.
I enjoy the discovery, tolerance, understanding and love of exploration. I need no space battles, laser combat or conspiracies to hold my attention and interest.
Having said that I do understand that there are some battles and conflicts that can not be avoided in any Star Trek series. They usually end with diplomacy and a new understanding of one another.
Keep discovery and peaceful exploration a priority and Star Trek will continue to be an inspiration for humanity and our future.
There is hope for us yet.

Kira is asking Sharkar if he wants to see the worm hole open. They go to an upper pylon to look a her worm hole. He wants to kiss her but odo is watching them. Odo must keep Kira's worm hole safe. Then Odo shows what a bad ass he is while they are going down together. The turbo lift must have been on an express trip to the bottom of the shaft. So it let loose his special powers and fisted the turbo lift hard. Later Worf is annoyed as per usual about the incident. Odo begins to creep on Kira, listening at her door. Shakar exits her quarters to go wash the stank off of his hang-low. Then Kira blows her sex breath right in Odo's face hole. Worf continues to be grumpy and flex his forehead at Odo. Then Worf goes to whittle an award for Odo about his training or something. Quark is butting in Odo's business about getting some hot Kira Va-jay-jay. So Quark is really playing with fire here. Odo doesn't really like Quark so he could do a fist pounding death punch into Quarks stinky whizzle teeth. So Quark gives Odo some advice and Odo look at him like he wants to make out with him. Odo is seriously confused now. He's just gotta stop fiddling around and just spit the bit. Kira is probably down for some shape shifting love making. She enjoyed their morning coffee and going over the who's been bad list. They were really taking great delight in the shortcomings of others on the station. They really enjoy when somebody gets caught doing something. So Quark just won't stop and pretty soon Odo is going to turn himself into a giant Q-tip and ram himself into Quarks brain. I'd say the entire entire episode is kind of boring. But hang in there the show gets better.
