I'm still on episode 8, but this is a sweet quirky story of boy-meets-girl Cinderella story. It's lighthearted, quirky, fun. Well acted, he stares at her... music... she stares at him... music. He's the knight in shinning armor, classic prince that wants to rescue his princess. Fun story that makes you forget about the world. It gets better and better with every episode. I like it because it's lighthearted. No trauma, no who's gonna get slashed in half this week. Really light comedy. I have worked in retail and hotels and I can relate to some of the plotlines. Easy to enjoy. This is an old school romance story.

Really impressive animated movie. It reminds me of Studio Ghibli movies such as Grave of the Fireflies or Nausica. If you enjoy those films, you will like this one. The characters are well-developed, interesting plot and twists. Not like the Disney version. Well executed animation, I would not be surprised if this one wins the Best Animation Oscar. It is obviously darker than regular Disney movies. It is more similar to Japanese Anime movies. Good movie for all ages. Guillermo Det Toro proved once again that he's a great director. Looking forward to see his next projects very soon. Merry Xmas!

Spanish TV is well known for not being inclusive and not including people of color in their telenovelas , movies, or media in general, especially as main characters. Now, there is a Black protagonist and I browsed IMDB to find info on who she is and there's no picture of her!
