  • Mike and Marcus...they are NOT!

This film wanted to be 'Bad Boys' sooooo bad - no pun intended...but it fails miserably. Two mismatched 'law enforcers' constantly shouting, swearing, ribbing/insulting each other and cracking-wise...it gets tedious super-quick!

The problem is, unlike Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson have absolutely ZERO chemistry. They don't bounce off each other at all. They almost come across like they dislike each other in real life, but were forced to do this as part of community service(!)

Add to the mix, Eva Longoria and Keke Palmer and now you have FOUR people with zero chemistry! They're all good actors in their own right, but together they're an absolute mess.

Film has an unoriginal storyline, that portrays the message that 'If you've been through a rough time, committing crime is fine and there will be no consequences'. So many similarities to the original 'Bad Boys' storyline.

I was zoning in and out for the entire 90 minutes. Apart from a small chase scene involving exploding dye packs, there was nothing to hold my attention.

Eddie Murphy is a living legend...and I feel that this is beneath him - purely a cash grab! U hope he doesn't take the route of taking any job just for the sake of it.

Summary: Maybe they should have been garbage truck drivers, because this was pure garbage!

  • Wasted opportunity.

A really good concept...some really good actors...but it just didn't hit!

Started off really good, but it kind of went nowhere.

It's one of those films that feel like the first and second halves were written/directed by different people.

I love the 'big nose' guy in Detroiters...he was brilliant in that...and I love Mike Cr*phage in Friends and every other thing he's been in, but it just didn't work here.

Chemistry is lacking and the story isn't strong enough for a whole movie. This would have been amazing as a 'short'.

It just gets boring and silly, with crazy scenes that seem like they were added in purely to make up the runtime to be classed as a movie.

Summary: Nothing special...and a wasted opportunity.

  • So mediocre, it's 'criminal'!

    Ohhhh boy, Cr*pFlix strikes again!

I can only describe this film as generic, safe, by the book, lame, vanilla, plain, mediocre, done before, boring, dire, below average, typical NetFlix, dry, dull, nothing special, underwhelming, undercooked, forgettable, a waste of time and highly regrettable.

This brings absolutely nothing new to the 'spies coming out of retirement' genre. You've seen in all before...and by this point, it's just annoying!

Foxx and Diaz aren't even remotely believable as a couple...they have zero romantic chemistry, but they could be believable as friends.

Action scenes are barely watchable...overly fast camera movements and editing make it resemble a phone tumbling down 10 flights of stairs, while the camera app is recording.

One of the weirdest casts I've ever seen, a mixture of Hollywood legends, washed-up has-beens...and some absolute nobodies!

Absolutely NONE of the music fits. I mean, the film opens to them getting a 'spy assignment', with Lauryn Hill - Doo Wop playing over it. Then some more weird choices of music during fight scenes...it just doesn't work!

Summary: I hate this film...but I like Jamie Foxx, so it mercifully gets a 3/10.
