If you aren't into musicals then this isn't for you most likely as I believe that is what everyone's "hate" is towards this movie. Which honestly idk why because they said it was going to be a musical when they first announced this film like last year.
Secondly, tired of people saying "this isn't living up to the first" or "it's not what they 'set' up for". If anyone watched the interviews and with Tod Philips mentioning he had NO PLANS of making a 2nd film neither did Joaquin.
But they took a different approach and honestly to me who loves the first this movie makes perfect sense.
Some ask where the story is? Are you even watching? Or are you just criticizing every scene and not letting yourself go?
Anyone knows the comics and these two relationship shouldn't have expected anything different or new.
It's a live action, dark comedy, drama, crime and psychological film.
He was captured and put into Arkham Asylum/Hospital in the end of the last one.
This shouldn't be news to anyone that you are viewing someone's life via an insane asylum for an entire movie and getting their perspective. The musical elements are mentioned as to why they are used in the movie as well at Harley's class, they use music for a form of therapy and it makes sense.
The entire movie is his life in the asylum lost and trying to cope with whatever his life was. Then he finds love and has meaning again in his life and they use a musical to portray his feelings and her's. They are both in a hospital and playing out their fantasies for the most part in their minds so why does that not seem like a good way to approach it?
It builds up towards the third act and the last bit is super sad but when and IF you can open your mind and realize these are mental health patients expressing themselves then maybe you will understand and appreciate the movie better.
I'm so sick and tired of movies getting hate and people find like 1 thing to make it sound like the entire movie is ruined because of it.
I don't care for musicals but I do for dark ones such as Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp. If you enjoyed that one then you'll enjoy Joker 2.
This film almost could have been a stand alone to if it didn't rely on repeating his crimes from the first film because even Arthur Fleck said he is done focusing on his past.
Anyways that's my two cents. Do what you will and listen to critics or go see it for yourself and go in open minded.

"Blink Twice if I'm in danger 😉!" - oooh girl if you only knew.
Blink Twice 2024, I give this psychological mystery suspense a solid 8/10.
Gotta say this is my fave film of Channing's period!
Idc about him playing a good guy or "bad boy sex appeal" character.
I love watching this side of Channing, him in a villain role and he looks fine as heck with his lil beard and mustache. Honestly I barely recognized him after having seen him in Fly Me to the Moon and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Zoë Kravitz did AMAZING in directorial debut as well as the screenplay in this movie!
She knows how to work up the suspense, execute the movie and timing well with a satisfying justified ending! And again, loved Channing in this. I hope to see him do more suspense/horror/thriller roles bc I really don't want to see him typed cast like Jennifer Aniston.

Afraid 2024, I LOVE this movie! 10/10 from me! What a great pg-13 movie filled with tons of suspense and horror! At least those that are subject to paranoia about Ai and its future with us!
I loved the pacing of this movie, the humor in it, how Aia got offended by Alexa and called her a b*tch 😂 and more!
It truly is terrifying however to think what Ai could and possibly can do.
This was a very fun entertaining film with some brutal scenes and a few good jump scares. To be expected but still nevertheless entertaining.
I honestly myself cannot find anything negative to say about it off the bat.
Def recommend seeing it!

The Call 2020, I give this a 6/10 it's like SAW meets Nightmare on Elm Street with a touch of the movie Devil at the end is the best way to explain this movie. Insane plot twist at the end. A little slow at the start but as soon as you see Lin Shaye and Tobin Bekk that's when things start to pick up and then we get the ball rolling.
I enjoyed this little B rated flick and if you enjoy the movies listed above then definitely give this a go! It delivers in some good scares and Lin Shaye and Tobin Bell were great in this especially Lin Shaye shining out as a queen!
Don't really have anything negative to say about this for it being a B flick and the story is decent enough!

I wanted to enjoy this movie but it's too much of a slow burn for me. Knowing it's based on actual events is scary in itself but the execution for this is such a slow burn and having to wait until the very end in the last 20 minutes for anything terrifying to me just was not cutting it. The acting is okay, not too great. The setting is good for your typical back roads kind of deal if you enjoy Texas Chainsaw which I do; but at least with that film you get more of the gore horror factor in it and it's evenly spread out throughout the movie.
Slow burn horror movies aren't generally my thing because it will leave me with high expectations and it just seems like your typical average horror flick but you have to wait until the very end to get it.

Thought the title was silly and the trailer but boy is this movie deep in story, character development and great jump scares timed perfectly! A mixture of other similar storylines of curses if you enjoy The Ring, The Grudge, It then you will enjoy this movie and follow along with the main character as she tries to figure out what in the world is going on! Was not disappointed with this movie one bit and hope that there will be a sequel and Kyle to come back! It's been a while since I had a good jump scare at the movies and this one had me and others giggling after we got scared. Creepy smiles for a great scary movie!
If you appreciate psychological thrillers and character development with a thriller suspense movie then this is for you. Florence is amazing in this! Idk why there is anything negative about this movie, only those that cannot appreciate the psychological side of this film and the slow unraveling of chaos. Such a in depth movie that keeps you guessing what outcome the end will have and it's something you least expect. Fans of the film Repo Men or The Twilight Zone will have a certain appreciation especially for this movie. Pine plays a great villain and Florence gives one of her best peformances!
Fans of vampires and Dracula will enjoy this dark fantasy romance thriller. Thomas was a perfect casting choice! Any negative reviews are most likely from those expecting more murder and less story and character development. If you enjoyed the trailer you will enjoy the movie, enough said!
Enjoyed this movie the only thing that doesn't make sense is why they called it "First Kill" when it's not Esther's first kill. Lol lots of action and suspense though! If you enjoyed the first movie defiantly give this one a go!
8/10! If you enjoyed the movie The Shallows with Blake Lively this is essentially the same vibes but instead of out in the water with the shark you are 2,000 feet up high stranded with vultures. Great acting, story and feels with this one and a major shocker for me I didn't see coming. Had a good ending to, I def recommend it!
Women get it done! Going from the "food chain" of hunters and the hunted to the big boss himself, a movie worthy for a sequel and good suspense! This movie def needs a watch for those that are fans of the franchise!
Wow! Just finished binging season 1 and cannot wait for season 2. Such an action packed thrilling drama that hits deep and keeps you watching non stop! Jeremy Renner is superb as always and great in these types of roles! The entire cast has done well and cannot wait to see what season 2 unfolds! I hope this show can get 5 seasons or more! So much to work with for all these characters and their development and wanting to dive more into Mike's past even!
If you like Green Inferno, Death of Me any tropical messed up horror flicks this is good to watch well messed up. Point is if you lost your kid and it's been 6months don't go to the jungle thinking they are there.
Do not watch if you lost a parent or grandparent in under a year. I lost my grandma in May, just viewed this end of July and it really messes with you. This is the saddest movie I have ever seen and Anthony Hopkins ugh superb. This is too real for me and really hits you with the feels and anxiety easily getting lost in this!
Idk what anyone says but this was decent enough for me. I give it a 6/10 love that they brought in the croc from RE2, Tyrant's little cameo, the Moonlight Sonato and other callbacks. I just wish they spent the first season not going back and forth between flashback and present day as that story telling is overused in my opinion. I heard there is gonna be a second season and I hope they bring in the Spencer Mansipn somehow. People nowadays are too anal and go in with high expectations instead of trying to see new point of view of story telling. The clones threw me off for a hot min but then I think this is Umbrella it wouldn't be out of their world like they did with Alice in the movies. They took parts of games and movies I feel and Lance was amazing!
I was holding out on watching this because I was skeptical but after finishing the Boys s3 I decided why not. And glad I got this movie, oh the end credits and song choice haha. Def recommend for fans of The Boys and superhero's stuff!
This was the best Thor imo above the rest and one of Marvel's top tiers! Natalie Portman was amazing and all the action, scenery, story and all just superb and Bale was amazing as always. Despite his funny memes when you watch the movie you feel for the guy and his role was one of the best "villains" so far unlike Thanos. 100000/10!!
Don't know why there are so many negative reviews besides it being a predictable movie. But if you love action and a fast paced movie with lots of killings and girls this is a movie you should defiantly give a watch.
Just wish the ending was different only because I'm a sucker for Dominic Cooper and he plays amazing bad guy in this!

I love that Scott Derrikson, Ethan Hawke and James Ransone worked together with this colab please keep it going! And to do a film based off of Stephen King's son, Joe Hill's short story - yes please! Keep them coming! Love the call backs to Sinister and a nod to It!
This was so suspenseful, slowly building up and letting you feel for this family and wow the ending twist did not see that coming one bit haha especially the last line of the movie just, wow! I love this and highly recommend for those into the end of the world zombie monster with a twist kinda movie!
I really don't like when shows have a good ending then they throw in something last minute to mess it all up like Supernatural did. Season 7 is that mess up. Love the series otherwise. Couldn't stomach finishing the first episode of season 7 as it seems like a reboot to what they just finished but with Henry Mills as Emma.
The show is steadily consistent otherwise, a few slow burns but nothing like all other shows have from time to time. Just my opinion stop at season 6 and all is good!

I enjoyed this, wish there were more episodes and or a second season how the show ended on a cliffhanger. I have yet to read the book but I know they could have done more. Regardless, Stephen King himself and I agree Alexander Skarsgard as Randall Flagg was amazing and thus I wish Alex would come back to do more in the future if possible! His performance especially for fans of his is a must see!
Great chaos and madness all around, well casted and great cameos and bringing back the Sam Raimi! Couldn't have asked for a better sequel! Scarlet Witch is here and don't mess with her! Perfect amount of speed and story telling and really don't have anything negative to say except for the waste of the second post credit scene so just watch the first post credit scene and you are good to go!
Loved this show, steady throughout has great episodes, great casting and ends well also, had me super emotional throughout what all these characters go through. Highly recommend watching it! I never got to finish it a few years back but finally binged it this past year and glad I did.
Wonderful cast and powerful performances with captivating imagery and tons of violence and slaying. Strong story throughout and very well paced! Claes Bang and Alexander did amazing!
