I mean it's entertaining enough for me to have watched it but the writing seems to have been done by someone with English as a second language and the delivery from the main guy is hilariously wooden. There was a line something like "I like this wine" with reply "yes I thought you would"......that was it, no follow ups? Nope that was the conversation started and finished. Then another bit where she is waiting for someone to come to the apartment....it appears to prompt a montage of sitting and waiting! Just normal sitting and waiting! I will say the main woman sort of saves it, she can clearly act and carries it a bit. It's a bit like if a local movie club bought a camcorder and decided to make a film over a couple of weekends.

I enjoyed this film, it's a good sci-fi psychological thriller. It's elevated beyond the normal by an outstanding performance by Florence Pugh who is excellent. It grinds me a little that billing seems to be split between her, Harry Styles and Chris Pine when she is clearly the star. The only real down side of the film is the casting of Harry Styles who is clearly out of his depth, he is awful, very flat. Pugh then has to work twice as hard to salvage it, which to be fair she does but that's because she is amazing. It is an interesting concept and perhaps a little longer than it needs to be, but give it a go.

This was difficult to watch but the story telling and acting involved in producing something so troubling yet important to watch is at a very high standard. The fact the the main actor actually went through this in real life adds an extra dimension of pain and I only hope this helped him in some way. Regardless of his own personal experience his acting in this is near enough flawless and he really takes you on his journey. I feel this will help people understand the complicated nature of what he went through and how that then procede to subtlety impact on his next decisions that led to the stalking. It raises questions over who is vulnerable and the unsettling thoughts of our own youth and that we could have been in similar situations if we met the wrong person at the wrong time.
