  • Great adaptation

Was my favourite childhood book, and this is the first adaptation that made me feel what I felt while reading. The production value, the costumes, decor truly spectacular... but what truly shines is the main actor and the cast... some might see it naive in our overly cynical time, but the story and the actors makes you feel the beauty of a time long gone... I wish Hollywood made movies like this, without unfailable cardboard diversity characters... there is demand for good stories told without mixing in daily politics. Congrats to everyone involved in this truly moving and spectacular production.

  • Star Wars for adults

I gave up on the star Wars universe 10 years ago. Felt like a woke Disney cartoon, with characters without depth, without any real motivation. This series takes time, builds up worlds, characters, and it does it in a spectacular manner. It doesn't creates infallible heroes, fighting for the absolute good, but characters driven by their fears, hopes or even careers... characters that you can relate to. I also liked the rawness, the blood, the disposal of well built side actors... it gave more weight to the story, and kept the tension alive, just like in Game of Thrones. Can't believe I say that, but thumbs up Disney!
