  • Why?

Writing is disappointing. Why would you give away who Abby is from the very beginning of the episode instead of building her and her team like total strangers and shock the audience with the things they do later on? It was really a bad decision. The game did it better by slowly building everything.

Also the beginning of the game with Joel telling what went down to his little brother was much much better. Writers need to learn when it's not broken they shouldn't try to fix it.

Acting is so flat in this episode like they stopped caring about portraying their characters. Especially Pedro Pascal. Younger ones' acting also feel so.... fake.

They made Ellie annoying. She acts like a spoiled brat, doesn't follow orders and risks the lives of people around her but somehow everyone looks up to her and her friend Dina.... Did Craig Mazin forgot how to write stories? I really hope not.

Also I gotta say it again: portraying a strong female character doesn't mean they need to have a scene where they beat a man twice their size. It comes out so fake and cringe especially knowing that the skinny Ellie in the game hides and carefully and slowly hunts down her enemies Of course you can go full action with her but especially after playing as Abby you can easily tell which character the developers made for stealth gameplay and which is made for action gameplay.

It feels sad knowing that this episode could have turned out helluva lot better but the writing, directing and acting really took a few steps back from the 1st season.

I'm gonna watch the next episode too just to see the notorious Golfing scene, and then maybe I'll continue, I don't know, I'll see.

  • Season 1: 10/10 Season 2: 10/10 Season 3: 10/10 Season 4: 0/10 Season 5: 5/10

The first season is at least feeling-wise the closest one that is to the movie. Billy Bob Thornton is amazing as Lorne Malvo, not just him actually the whole cast is amazing.

The second season is my personal favorite, Starting from here I think Noah Hawley doesn't just get some story elements and scenes from the movie Fargo but from like all of Cohen's filmography, those of you who have seen the show would know what I mean and it's a good thing. Acting is amazing as usual along with intriguing storyline that keeps you hooked up from beginning to end.

The third season is where things slow down, but Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ewan McGregor and especially David Thewlis as V. M. Varga are AMAZING. And I love the cinematography of this season, and I think this is the best looking season of Fargo.

The fourth season is the worst one. We went from subtle dark humor with great stories and interesting characters to fart jokes with cheap mafia story and uninteresting, annoying characters. Also with his squeaky voice I just can't take Chris Rock serious as a mob boss.

The fifth season is kind of mid for me, I remember liking it while watching weekly but when I tried to remember I realized nothing much stayed with me after finishing the whole season. I loved the character Ole Munch, he is the only one that's interesting with all of his background, and other than him the show is just filled with one dimensional weak male characters and girl bosses that have laugh-inducing plot armors.

I'm glad the show's ended. It had almost perfect run. Still win-win actually cause we have 3/5 amazing season here.

  • What a Beautiful Tragedy

Apart from having just a slight bit of pacing problem I think this movie doesn't have any flaws. Directing is spectacular, cinematography is amazing, acting is great, some people laughed at Lily Rose' scenes where she has fit, doing weird faces and all that but I thought those scenes were creepy and made me feel sad about how Orlok's sickness affected her.

I also love how Robert depicts Orlok, he is literally a rotting corpse struggling to draw breath and he is the true embodiment of what a vampire was like back in old folk tales.

Big surprise for the young folk, vampires weren't originally good-looking, sexy beings, they actually represented evil and sickness and some were believed to be magicians that chosen by the devil itself and taught dark magic in a school called Solomonari. Orlok is one of those magician vampires as it's mentioned in the movie.

I also want to add that people who complain about the mustache and hair and Orlok's outfit should probably check out how Vlad and some Romanian lords looked like from the time period that Robert drew inspiration from. A noble vampire that's lived for centuries in Romania would have probably looked exactly like Orlok.
