I went into this movie with slightly reserved expectations, but in the end I was pleasantly surprised. It is about a troubled young girl who starts working as a night watch in a big abandoned building. Her supervisor is played by Jason Patric, who gave a decent performance of his character. What was suppose to be a routine and boring job turns out to be a living hell, when Streak (Louisa Krause) finds out they are not alone in the building. There were some clichés typical for the horror genre, but the story was suspenseful and rather interesting until the end. The movie ended with a nice twist that kept me thinking about it for awhile. 8/10 score from me.
If you are tired of the Hollywood blockbusters, this movie will be a perfect one for you! It has a little bit of everything: mystery, suspense, romance and an ending that will leave you scratching your head. Story is believable and very well put together, directing is superb and there are some scenes in the movie that take breath away. Actors were relatively unknown to me but they did an amazing job portraying their characters. Michelle Chen was especially convincing in her role of Lily, but not only she is a great actress but very hot too XD I warmly recommend this cute and unique romance to everyone with a heart. I give it an 8 star rating!
The movie known as Saved by Grace is a movie that has been produced and filmed and the results have been very successful. One of the best things about this film is that it highlights the reality that going through a tragedy is definitely not something of an easy process. The situation is clear from the beginning that Rick who is the lead character here is about to seriously hurt himself with a decision one can never take back. Those plans go wrong however when he is taken by surprise at the arrival, of a young woman named Grace who says she needs a ride home to spend Thanksgiving Day with her family. While Rick drives Grace home she goes on a memory lane and tells him her life's story, which leads to shocking revelations about Rick's own life that he can relate to. This film was successfully produced through the precise use and control of camera, music, and lifelike dialogue. In terms of cinematography the depth of field and focus was good. Therefore this movie is highly recommended to families as well as people of all ages. Our society needs more movies with positive messages of hope for the future especially because of the hard times that we live in.
