I truly don't understand all of the sour reviews for this movie.
Is it better than the original? No. But how many sequels are?
Is it enjoyable and entertaining? Hell yes!
This movie isn't trying to take itself seriously (how can it - it's Zombieland?) You can tell the cast was having fun, and the producers had a good time making it. It's not trying to be Citizen Kane or win any Oscars, it's just a fun follow-up to a great comedy horror.
I would compare this to Lethal Weapon 2 vs. the original Lethal Weapon - some of the jokes are repeated, it's flawed compared to the first, but it stands solidly on it's own, with the characters continuing their wacky and dangerous adventures together.
There's a lot to like in this film, and I enjoyed getting to see more survivors of the zombie apocalypse and how they handle staying alive.
If you enjoyed the first film, you will like the second - I thought it was a solid effort, I was entertained throughout, laughing and smiling the entire movie.

I really loved this movie. From the opening scene and credits to the films final climax, I laughed (mostly) throughout. I brought my wife with me to see this (she knows nothing about Deadpool) and she absolutely loved it as well - though she did have hard time with some of the violence.
Parents be warned: this movie is rated R, it contains graphic violence, harsh language and nudity. If this is going to offend you (and especially your kids), THEN DON"T BRING THEM! I couldn't believe some parents were so dumb as to bring their 6-9 year olds to this - we saw about a dozen little kids in the theatre (and it was an 11:00pm show!)
That being said, what made this movie so great is that everything was no-holds barred. The jokes were raunchy, the action was intense, and there were some VERY DARK and dramatic scenes where the villain and motives were established (his time with Weapon X), creating 10-15 minutes of quiet despair from the crowd.
But this is why the movie is so great. As tough as those scenes were to watch, they weren't over-done like so many recent Tarantino films, and the humor came right back to wash away the bad taste. The fact that Deadpool is also constantly breaking the 4th wall makes for a very funny, intimate and entertaining film.
The acting is top-notch. Ryan Reynolds is the perfect person to take on this role - he does the character proud, remaining faithful to the Deadpool comic character we know and love (throwing the tragic "Wolverine: Origins" Deadpool out the window). The supporting cast did an incredible job, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well Morena Baccarin played her role - I'm only used to seeing her in the "Firefly" series (VERY different characters).
If you love the comic book, or are looking for an extreme action-comedy with some great drama thrown in - you will be wildly entertained by this film.

Tonight I worked out while in front of the TV watching Oldboy. If you've thought of watching it, DON'T - be warned. It was recommended to me by a friend and was ranked in the top 250 movies of all time on IMDb, so I decided it was time to watch it.
HOLY CRAP did it leave a bad taste in my mouth. It started amazing, the cinematography and music were incredible, I couldn't turn away (which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1)... but it took a VERY DARK and disturbing descent at the end, (mind you, it was pretty dark throughout) and I truly regret having seen it.
I wish I'd have read this review first from another IMDb user, it sums it up pretty well: "A good plot twist should leave the viewer going "wow, why didn't I think of that?" not "OMG what kind of sick %#@$% would even begin to think that?"
