A Man Escaped introduce us to a story couldn't be more straightforward, a man in prison, planning his escape. But the way Bresson tells it makes every little sound, every movement, feel important.
What I liked the most is how patient it is. There are no big speeches, no over-the-top drama, just the quiet rhythm of a man refusing to give up.
It might feel slow or distant at times, but that's also what makes it so unique. If you go along with its pace, it stays with you. A quiet but powerful film.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is a movie that relies a lot on the charm of its two leads, and that's not a bad thing. Newman and Redford carry it with such ease that you can't help but get caught up in their rhythm and humor. The story itself is quite simple, maybe even too simple at times, but the film doesn't pretend to be more than what it is. It's about two men who know their time is slipping away, yet still ride with wit and style. The plot might not surprise you, but the chemistry between them feels timeless, the kind of connection that makes the smallest moments feel alive.
Tombstone is just a really fun experience. It moves fast, entertains, and still makes you think about what's behind all the gun smoke. Val Kilmer is incredible as Doc Holliday, a man who feels like he's already half gone but refuses to let go of life's little moments of humor and friendship.
The soundtrack is beautiful, carrying scenes with a quiet weight, and the cinematography is very beautiful as well, giving the desert a sense of both vastness and finality. The kind of movie where legends are shaped less by the truth and more by the way stories are told.
