I am as confused as anyone. All they had to do was make 28 Days Later. The basic outline of the story is fine, but it is told in an almost comical way at times. The acting is very average.
All the story needed to be that their home village became infested, they had to flee across the water with what little supplies they had and enter the depths of the mainland for the first time while navigating towards a known potential safe place. Simple.
Film it normally without any of that unnecessary artsy rubbish and definitely don't include the last 60 seconds.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is a generic, poorly acted, low-budget film. There is absolutely nothing that propels this version of a FD film above any of the other tripe that has come out since the second one.
The story is convoluted, the acting is horribly bad most of the time, the deaths are not creative, the CGI is badly apparent some of the time and the characters are extremely generic.
Tony Todd is in the film for a grand total of maybe 60 seconds. That's the highlight, the rest of the film is garbage, and the second half is noticeably less interesting that the first. No idea how this is sitting at 7/10, it is easily not a 6/10 movie.
