The show is great, season 1 and its ending were both fantastic, and so many aspects of season 2 have been fantastic as well, and a joy to watch. The writing has just been incredibly sloppy and rushed, and this finale felt like a culmination of that theme.
The amount of 10/10's or people saying this is one of the greatest shows of all time, and even comparing this episode to Ozymandias - what am I missing? It's almost as if these reviews are paid and produced by apple themselves. I don't actually believe that, but I can't fully believe this many people praise this this much?
There's been too much lazy writing; the goats, cobel, the marching band who turned in an instant but don't stop to consider mark and jelly and Dylan revolting at first, the CEO saying "oh füke" and that not being a joke? Everything can't be weird for the sake of being weird and faking symbolism, on the surface it seems beautiful and as though there's so much to be unearthed, but when you actually dissect it you're left with plot lines with unsatisfactory endings, poor dialogue, and stuff that just doesn't make sense.
If lumon is clearly this multibillion dollar company, why are two people, able to escape what is essentially a massive prison, with very little effort, and it's not a joke.

A somewhat lackluster episode but still entertaining, and also still funnier to me than most of season 1 and 2 but then again I'm a huge fan of the later seasons. Cartman's eye exams and doctor is great, Chef is always a treat, and Mr. Derp is such a goofy wacky character, I hope he doesn't never come back ever again except for in the background. 7.9.
One of the first episodes with Randy as the center, even if it's not our Randy that we know and love yet. Regardless, he's funny enough I'm this episode and Kyles dad having trouble getting it up (on the cross) are always funny to me. 8.1.
