Weak acting & bad casting.
But the errors concerning the Amish required two stars and came close to being just one.
1) The father's beard was more of a goatee. WRONG.
2) Rumspringa does not require a youth of 16 to join the church or leave.
3) Decorations in an Amish home. Obviously plastic and WAY over the top. And a tree appeared when she first arrived home. NEVER in an Amish home. Real greenery, candles. But never an English Christmas tree.
... and the list of Amish errors could go on and on.
So disappointing.

Okay. I like these 'B' movies. But I almost quit watching this one twice. Fortunately, the fast-forward button on my remote allowed me to get past the gratuitous sex scenes, which, by the way, were L then G and near the beginning. Once past that, the movie became what I expected, which is why it got three stars. The bad guys versus the really good guys who have to save the world. NOTE to producers & directors -- THAT is what people wanted to watch. Producers/directors -- you want better ratings for your movies. Stop putting scenes in the movies that have NOTHING to do with the plot! In this movie, it was sex scenes. It added NOTHING to the movie.
At times the acting was okay. Most was VERY wooden. Watched to the end because plot was interesting.
