What a show! I'm so sad that it didn't get more seasons:( but with the seasons that they did have, we got to see drama, character development, humor and craig roberts do what he does best-acting! He is his character, david, and wheeler and misty are my second favorite plot line behind david. I would watch seasons and seasons of straight up david. And i would watch seasons and seasons of wheeler and misty living their lives and my life would be complete.
Not only is there a loaded cast, that loaded cast gives it their all in each performance. The chemistry is palpable between liam james and sam rockwell, having a mentor/father figure and awkward teenager who just wants to fit in. Sam rockwell does such a good job of that and it's because of the writing. The writing is so earnest and hilarious! Every joke lands, even when it doesn't IYKYK. All in all, i'd have to say, out of all the movies that i so very love, this is number one, always has been and always will be. So grateful for this movie and how much it has been a comfort movie for me:)
Maybe it's just because i relate to diana's need to escape and be her own person, but this movie moved me in a way that few others have done. The drama and the tone and inflection that kristen stewart portrayed in diana was heartbreaking and phenomenal. I felt what she felt and i wanted what she wanted. Well done, well done.
