Once you get past season one the show really starts to find its footing. If you're someone who can't let go of strict plotlines from the books, you'll probably struggle with the changes but for me it felt like they were really starting to go somewhere great with this.
The Wheel of Time books are my all-time favourites. This series needs to be viewed as a take on the mirror worlds like in The Great Hunt, when Rand first meets Lanfear as Selene in that alternate realm. Those spaces showed what could have been had the world unfolded differently. The show was beginning to feel like that, a reflection, not a copy.
The storytelling, the acting, the pacing, they were starting to make something really captivating. This was the only reason I signed up for Amazon Prime. It's such a shame to see it cut short just as it was starting to shine.

Oh my gosh. I'm actually still watching the last couple of minutes of it. It is the most predictable, cliché, over the top, stupid show.... and I am absolutely loving it and I really don't know why.
I have seen the actors elsewhere so I know that they can act but in this there are so many overacted or slightly off moments. It is forced together to make the most stereotypical romcom ever. Its so bad its good, or maybe I'm just in a great mood.
It was awkward and daggy just like larp, I think the acting portrayed that well. It's not a movie to be taken seriously so if you're after a giggle this will do it. Effects weren't great but they're not awful and in my opinion not what most movies should be about. I love the actors in this film. Great cast.
