  • One Paul Naschy film even diehard fans can skip!

This is a review of the actual Kilma jungle girl film from 1975 featuring Paul Naschy as an actor only. A girl and her wealthy father crash land in a plane in the African jungle, and only she survives. She grows up to be the local white Jungle Goddess. Because her mother cannot believe she is dead, her uncle (Naschy) accompanies an expedition to find her. Meanwhile, evil poachers are trying to trap Kilma to get the stash of diamonds her father was carrying when they crashed. Sound interesting? Unfortunately, this film is wretchedly directed/written with amateurish acting, and it doesn't even qualify as so-bad-it's-entertaining. Naschy plays a real dork here, and he must have appeared in this purely for the money. This doesn't even have the obligatory sexploitation T&A one might expect from a 70s jungle girl flick. There is really NO satisfaction to be found in this POS.

  • 21st Century Ed Wood

Tara Cardinal (a goofy name might work if she did porn) wrote, directed and starred in this monstrosity about--just what is it about? Endless building-ups that lead nowhere, flashbacks of flashbacks of flashbacks, the same scenes of people walking/running around (something that happens constantly through this mess) being replayed like some GIF loop. This actress is neither tough, smart, or sexy enough to pull off the role she created for herself (though she does have the red hair, at least), and most of the 'acting' is as tedious as the dialogue and 'plotline'. It's really a marvel that someone can put something so bad together and expect other humans to actually sit through it. Oh, and Ewe Boll (another name linked with the immortal Ed Wood) was executive producer. Give this to someone you hate for Xmas.
