This movie is genuinely creepy and deeply unsettling. The very end of the movie is somewhat of a let down. Whilst I don't need everything explained in a movie, this movie had not much of a conclusion. But I loved it for the feeling of mounting horror. One to enjoy if you like movies that aren't afraid to push the boundaries.
I must be too old and have seen too many movies. I had high expectations for this movie after all the hype, and being a fan of multiverse plots, but this was just stupid. The potentially interesting multiverse idea was never explored or developed. It just became a series of ridiculous kung fu fights in ridiculous costumes and locations. Yawn.
