Great camera movement with the one continous shot, you can really grab a taste of real time and realistic feels along with the good acting. However it does create quite a few very boring bits, especially the travelling in a car/van parts. Episode 1 is probably the best, good scripting but episode 3 was the worst to get through as its just the kid and the professional woman in a room together, watching the kid having tantrums.
They could have condensed it into 3 episodes from what was there plus some of the girls family side to things. Then had a 4th episode in a court room or something as there was no ending or wrap up to the story at all.

This isn't a film to just watch when you're bored and want to be entertained. This is real life! This is something everyone should watch in a serious matter with no distractions.
I watched this as I have a strong passion for women's rights. Abortion is healthcare and should not be taken away by anywhere that does it and needs to be accessible to everyone in the world. To think the things seen in this film are still happening in the USA "the land of the free" in 2024 because they decided to overturn Roe V Wade and undo the happy ending this film portrayed.
I've never had an abortion myself but yet could feel the uncomfortableness Joy was putting across in that well staged depressing room. You can feel the difference in care by the women on the bed in the other room later on in the film (even if the procedure is a bit off in professional terms as they're sat up too much).
Yes the film starts off a little slow but I think it shows the reality of the slow and painful process of women's lives and choices they have to make.

I see what they were trying to do here but personally I don't think it really worked. I decided to watch it in time order after watching 2 random episodes forgetting about it and coming back to the series couple months later to try again. If I had watched it in a random order like they want you to I don't think it would make as much sense. You could watch any series in a random order and have the same outcome; you would just pick up things in a different order, so therefore it's not as cool as it makes out.
So basing it without the gimmick it's still got good actors and storyline but its nothing special.
If you do want to watch The heist episode last like the producers want you to then I'd suggest watching the 2 episodes after the heist then go back to the 24 years before and watch in chronological order from there.
