This is a good first episode. Thank God!
Very clearly shows respect for the series, and authentically portrays the universe. Set, costume and prop design are fantastic.
Acting pretty good too, along with characters. I look forward to their journeys, and a really big fan already of the structure with multiple protagonists and stories- really awesome.
Writing as a whole is pretty good. The odd miss here and there line/joke wise, little corny at times but Fallout always has been (a little bit at least).
Soundtrack is probably my least favourite thing so far, the original score is far outshined by (the very well chosen I might add) licensed tracks, and to be honest just has not been hitting at all for me. Just seems like a really boring and generic score, for such a dynamic and colourful world -doesn't help that the game's scores were far better. Here's hoping it improves.
All in all though, very minor complaints: and very easily could be forgiven as the show goes on and leans into more its already pretty damn good best parts. Excited to continue!

Right from the start Peele seems to be explaining to you exactly what he was trying to convey, talk about and explore. Human reaction.
This movie is undeniably angry, undoubtedly choppy (Deliberately i would wager), and uncompromisingly unique.
It was funny, it was shocking, it was provocative, it was simple, It was complex and it was just absolutely wholly a tour de force of creativity.
Not for a while now have i seen not only someone with the guts to start a movie like that (seriously, it is absolutely.... Something else) but also someone with the brain to match the great idea, and someone with the voice capable of talking us through the many, many themes of the film.
Its a risk taking film, a very conscious film, a wide looking film but its also fantastically uncompromising in its execution, and as such i cannot think of a person to recommend it to, in the same way i cant think of who i wouldnt.
Best advice i can give is keep the quote at the very very start in your head, and just take in whatever is before your eyes, and think about it later.

Bad jokes, bad pacing, bad characters, bad soundtrack (literally 3 from a single artist, with one playing at least twice on its own), bad references, all equal a bad time.
I absolutely loved thor 3 it gave the character a serious boost, and I was absolutely ecstatic to see what they could do with his new lease on life.
What they did was make the (somehow) worst thor movie yet. Yes. Its worse than the dark world.
I dont know what happened, everything was too short, massive decisions made no sense at all, there was an absolute hampering of the quality of this film to make it the shortest mcu film to date.
I love taika waititi, i loved his vision for thor in 2017, but for me this was a total bust and it was unbelievably disappointing. Hopefully he can find his mojo again soon.
