The original was great. I'm an 80's kid and loved the original. This was a boring, jumbled mess. There was Zero character development. Tom Cruise and Jennifer Connelly didn't make much sense. They went from not seeing each other for 30 years to being in love in 1 scene.
The generic mission with a generic enemy was lacking. I didn't care about the mission or the enemy.
Mike's Teller was decent, but the rest of the cast was just their to make TC look better. But it's not there fault their was no plot.
It was good to see Val Kilmer, but also sad to know this aweful movie will be his last.
It you can make it until the last 20 minutes, the final sequence is fairly entertaining. But not worth sitting through the first 90 minutes of boring.

Most of the contestants were BAD. A few were OK. Nothing was great. The Host is annoying. Hopefully the contestants will get better. But even if they do, the show still won't be very good.
