I do not play videogames due to medical issues. I have never played the game or knew much about it. That being said, I watched this film late last night and really enjoyed it. Then today, I watched all the DVD extras. Then I planned on returning the DVD to the library, but decided to watch the beginning again. A mere 14-15 hours after watching the film, I rewatched the whole movie again. I do not know why there is so much hate for this film. Cate Blanchett is awesome as the bounty hunter, Lilith. Jack Black is very funny as Claptrap. Ariana Greenblatt almost steals the whole movie. Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Hart play against type very well. The bad guy was a little 2 dimensional, but otherwise a 1hour 40 minute movie that flies by. A mix of Bo-Katan from The Mandalorian with a bit of Uruk-hai from Lord of the Rings and a real 80's movies vibe.

A horrible HBO comedy special. I have seen Whitney many times in comedy roasts and on other shows. She appears to be funny. Unfortunately she is not stand-up comedy funny. Many comedians have the natural ability to joke on a subject on a talk show. Comedians such as Nikki Glaser or Amy Schumer have decent stand-up acts or are good in sketches. I do not understand why Whitney can be funny on a podcast but cannot have anything interesting to say onstage. I understand that you are thirty-something and you have money. I do not care that you can not find a relationship or have an orgasm. Very boring and unfunny.

I used to really enjoy Chicago P. D. Some episodes the police would save people who may be kidnapped or help people who are being abused. A lot of the time they are trying to bust drug dealers or catch a murderer. All kind of cases that an Intelligence Squad in a major city would work. The show had an interesting mix of characters that worked well together. As the seasons went on, the police officers in the unit would date one another. Two of the cops married and stayed in the same unit, which would not happen in any major metropolis police force. Another cop adopted a child and then had another cop from the same squad move in with her and the child as a family unit. This would also not happen in a major metropolis police force. Putting all that aside, most episodes in the later seasons end on a downer. The show has become very depressing. Blue Bloods, Swat, NYPD Blue, etc. Have highs and lows in their stories. Chicago P. D. seems to relish in the hopelessness of the job of being police, especially in the last two or three seasons. It seems even when these cops win, they lose part of their souls. To anyone who may watch this show someday, quit after seasons seven or eight. After next week's episode, I am done.
