It's a shame that we only got one thirteen-episode season of "Walker: Independence" because - and this coming from someone who isn't a western fan, per se - it was brilliant.
A strong cast, led by Katherine McNamara as the titular character and Greg Hovanessian as Sheriff Tom Davidson, the show had great sets, costumes and locations, fantastic storylines and really interesting characters, both good and bad.
I really wish there'd been more.

A fantastic season finale from the first minute to the last.
Sadly, "Let Him Hang" is a series finale as well, robbing us of a chance to confirm the identity of the new arrival in the final scene.
I guess we will all have to come up with our own ideas about what happens next in Independence, Texas.

Well, if you were after the resolution to the cliffhanger at the end of last episode...you're bound for disappointment.
Instead of that, "How We Got Here" gives us the origin stories of Abby, Kate, Hoyt, Kai and others, detailing how and why they ended up in Independence.
A fun episode that shines more light on each of the main cast and fills in some of the blanks.
