This is a really really amazing piece of cinema
i watch a lot of films and a lot of series and a lot of them are so unintelligent this is really
high art this is a film that would suit anybody who loves music but equally anybody involved in
the creative process would it be writing music-making painting filmmaking any process which
has to do with creativity
it is clever all the way through it is really an insight into the way works of art are made and the pitfalls and the problems which occur when this process is going on
the acting here is very good the music used for the film is excellent all the way through although it is clever and artistic it is not up itself it is very accessible i would be surprised if this film did not become a cult movie appreciated by many people around the world Totally recommend it.

.... it has got redeeming features
Most of the scenes AND all of the fights are highly implausible
As if As if I know these days young women of average build can overcome huge muscle men but still still c'mon we understand suspension of disbelief but only to a point ...
Anyway the friendship between the 3 girls is worthy of our attention; couple of times the 93 (les Français comprendront/ it is the Eastern suburbs of Paris low class and multiracial) tuff girl speech slips and the blonde actress starts to speak like she is on the way to La Sorbonne ... yes acting needs be all the time
And the entire episode with Mike the American dad is very clumsy ....
But overall watchable feels a tad amateurish at times and the score given overall is absolutely spot-on as almost always on IMDB
For me the Dominican actress Judith Rodriguez Perez performance here is streets ahead of the rest
6.1 is correct.

This is excellent in all sorts of ways. The first series was
astoundingly good. It really isn't fair to expect that they
would top that or even equal it in the following seasons.
Season two was very poor compared to season one. It felt as if the accountants had got hold of the whole business. Things that would work with the majority. Since you pulled in a huge crowd with the first one, you could think, well now we have so many people wanting to see the second season. Let's drop the IQ by 50 points. See how many more we can reel in.
They do that very very often in Hollywood. So often. By now they should have understood that this never works. The second season is so poor that reading other reviews, many people could not even finish watching it. I kind of finished it due to the fact that the main actor Alan Ritchson is so good and carries practically everything most of the time.
He has that military presence that we want to see in a quasi-superhero. He has the muscle. He has the stares. He has the full energy of the He-Man. When you read his Wikipedia page, you find out the actor really grew up in different places with a military family, just as the character Reacher is said to have been.
So no surprise there. This is extremely well-paced in season one. You are always on the edge of your seat.
It is cleverly put together. Fight scenes are astounding in season one. Season two is just a pale copy.
A sort of oh, let's see what we can do here. If we lower the bar a lot maybe we'll get even more people signing up. So I was very reluctant to even start watching season three. But there lo and behold, as again, very often happens in Hollywood.
I am thinking of a totally unrelated film here called The Hangover (2009).
Hangover one was a masterpiece. Hangover two was unwatchable.
Hangover three was nearly as good, arguably better than Hangover one.
Here season three is probably not as good as season one. Season one also had the effect of surprise. We didn't expect such a story, such a character and so on and so forth; it was so original.
So we know they are currently producing a fourth season and hopefully that will be good too. But season three is totally worth seeing. So if anybody who hasn't seen any of those, watch one, watch three, forget two would be my advice. Very, very high quality series from Amazon here.
PS oh yes and every episode ends up with a great Rock tune often obscure UK Indie but cool and stylish.
