I almost never would give a 10 on a film since I believe that every film could do better, but in this case it is just a really good family film with some great take-a-ways. The acting keeps getting better in their films and the professionalism of the script level is very comparable to any family film produced by Hollywood. The messages and impact was felt deeply by myself. The next day I am still singing the songs in my head and trying to make some differences in my daily life to take advantage of the advise offered in the movie. I can't understand why many people would vote a '1' and then not even do a review, unless they never even saw the film and are just against anything with references to Jesus in a film. I guess that part hasn't changed in over 2000 years!? Go see the film and take someone with you...
The movie was funny - just not hilarious like the trailers showed. I did chuckle a few times and smiled a bit, but not what I expected. After the last tank/bomb of a movie with Kunis in it I figured she had learned - and this one was definitely better than the last one she did. I was in a half packed theater and everyone seemed to have the same response - some scattered laughs here and there, but never really the constant laugh-out-loud comedy that we were hoping for. One thing I noticed was that in her last movie it was filled with f-bombs and all of the younger folks seemed to roll with laughter each time she cursed. The audience this time was pretty mixed for age and the f-bombs never got even a chuckle from what I observed - even though they were plenty of them. Without the language I could have even taken my kids to see it, but not a chance with the amount of swearing it contained. Overall a bit disappointed from the cursing and lack of laughs not already seen in the trailers.
Think you're not being lied to? Think that history is not being revised? Check out what the definition of fascism is from your iPhone (Apple) - this was done on 8-7-2018 and just asked 'Siri' what the definition of fascism is - result said that this was a "right wing" system!!! Android device search does not add the 'right-wing' nonsense and the good old dictionary does it best. Please check actual history folks - fascism was started by Mussolini around the time of World War II and he was fully an extreme left party socialist.
So what does that have to do with the movie? Well, the movie does a good job in exposing areas where we are being lied to and where history is being revised or ignored. I would encourage anyone on either side to simply be open to the idea that you may have been lied to - and if you don't agree - there are all of the documentations right there on the movie website to help show the facts.
