I watched this show just because I'm a Steph fan and didn't expect much because, let's face it, athletes usually suck at acting... but I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Every episode had at least one laugh-out-loud moment, and even though the arc was predictable, the show still pulled it off nicely.
That said, Steph is my new favorite NBA Player/Actor. Lebron was funny in Trainwreck, Ray Allen was solid in He Got Game, Kareem was iconic in Bruce Lee's Game of Death, Kyrie was decent in Uncle Drew, and I have to give an honorable mention to Shaq for all the effort in his flicks... but Steph killed it in Mr. Throwback.
That said, Steph is my new favorite NBA Player/Actor. The post credits scene alone is worth seeing this movie but you have to watch the movie to appreciate it (i.e. It's not a teaser).
But more than that, this Deadpool really stepped up on all the things we love about the franchise. The overall storyline was probably the weakest aspect of the movie, but the action scenes and comedy more than made up for it. The cameos were epic and there was so much happening that I'm sure I missed a bunch of Easter eggs. Hugh Jackman shines as Wolverine per usual, Reynolds was Reynolds as Deadpool, but the actor in the post credits scene stole every scene he was in!

This version of Wonka really leans into the fantastic element of Dahl's story and doubles down on the musical angle... and in works! The costumes are great (I predict at least a nomination in that category). And as for the comedy, there were definitely some laugh out loud moments; especially when it came to the villains and Hugh Grant's Oompa Loompa character. And the ancillary characters were still able to hold their own. Finally, and I write this understanding the gravity, Chalamet as Wonka rivals, and might even surpass, both Depp's and Wilder's versions... but, let's face it, every version was amazing in its own right.
