Some cars are realisticly priced, with reasonable payouts for races - but most cars are unobtainable due to the insane pricing: I've seen up to 20 million credits (before modifications), against an average prize of under 100,000 credits for a race - that's 200 races (all wins and all 5 or 10 laps) for 1 car. Why is the pricing so bad? Microtransactions. At the time of writing, 2 million credits is £16, making 1 car a poultry £160. That means that the microtransactions aren't even micro - who is going to pay that in a game that you've had to pay to own? Everything about the sales sceme boggles my mind.
It's such a shame as the racing is good, and the modification system is interesting. Because there is so much focus on needing different cars you start to pay more attention to the unobtainable pricing than the racing and it absolutely ruins what could be a good game. I've tried grinding it out and got bored several times.

The first time I watched this episode I was amazed, it crosses genes and subverts expectations along with the best of any Of Pemberton and Shearsmith's productions.
The problem is if you only watch it once you miss too much. I can't say how many times I've now watched it but every time there is something new; some sound cue, some line of throwaway dialogue that you realise is actually SO important to the understanding. It makes every re-watch more difficult, more harrowing. Its a true tribute to the skill of the writers and actors that they manage to balance so many happy moments in such an unexpectedly heavy story.
