I had read reviews about how the pace was plodding along throughout the movie, but this did not bother me at all. Yes, some of the script sounded a bit wooden, but in general it was very sincere and I thought they handled the subject matter very well. The performances by the actors were very good and I thought the cinematography did the job too, even though there wasn't anything fancy.
Katje Herbers comes across as so honest and believable, sympathetic and captivating, that I like this show from the get-go. The other actors are also good, and the premise is intriguing. I liked the first episode enough to see about watching other episodes.
I might give this movie seven stars but I have to give it one more star for uniqueness. I've never seen a movie with such a premise, and I think they handled it really well. You could feel the chemistry between all of the characters, they were well-developed, and their relationships had interesting transformations.
