  • Much better than 6.2 rating!

A great sci-fi flick, fantastic color, cool space suits, pretty cheesy but good acting(even Barry!) Acton starts fast and is fairly well written and directed for a mid 60's film.

Budget used well to create atmospheric conditions!

Especially like the centuries old crashed alien spacecraft and terrestrial sets, all in all it's a fun movie to watch every couple of years. The Italians knew how to do a lot with a limited lira!

They say the review is too short but don't know what else to say, others have already given a synopsis, so going into a in depth review of the plot seems to be a waste of time... there finally have enough words!

  • Man... Boone was stoned

Dick Boone is the only reason to watch this fairly typical shoot em up, He's a hulking, laughing, skirt chasing liar and that's just for starters.

My favorite is when washing up in the lake he makes sure to walk by the tent of Miss Findley waving his arms in circles, bare chested and grinning like crazy... Don't miss Boone in Hombre and The Tall T, where I think he wears the same baby blue scarf!

Robbers Roost also has Leo Gordon, another great baddy but he's wasted by having hardly any screen time.

George Montgomery was a great guy, used to hang out at Ben Franks coffee shop on Sunset Blvd. For years... and when I was a telephone installer, worked at his house in the Hollywood Hills, he was an artist and had carved wooden or maybe stone western pieces of cowboys ropin' and ridin'... They were beautiful!

I think he did most of his furniture too!

  • Tight boots!

I really felt like I should have gone to sleep instead of watching this lackluster 'western', the other reviews here are heaping too much praise, giving it a 10 in two cases!!?? (one mixes Jock for Ron Ely!) Jock walks through this flick like his boots are three sizes too small, which makes him look like Walter Brennen in the Real McCoys... 'dag nabit pepita'!

It's actually worth seeing for this reason!

    And the bar fight's good....
