Quick Review - Very funny British comedy, with multiple strong female leads.
However, I firstly want to address the comment made in the only other current review, criticising the casting off Lauren Socha. I was disgusted by her actions at the time, however 8 years have passed. She has expressed regret for what she did. As far as I am aware there have been no other incidents of concern since. Just like I don't want to live in a racist society, nor do I want to live in a society in which people don't get a second chance, if they show regret for past actions.
It is great to see more and more female comedy writers getting the opportunity to show off their talent. It just reinforces the huge talent for writing and making comedy in both the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
I am though lost by the year of the show being 2017; the BBC released this show on 5 June, 2020 I believe?
If you like British comedies then watch it. I really hope there will be a second series.

With UKTV venturing into making actual television programming, I somewhat doubted it would be any good. But this was a great short series; just wish there were more episodes. Coming from a family torn apart from divorce and separation I could really identify with some of the characters. I just hope more episodes are planned.
Looking at the reviews so far, it seems this is a controversial series. I really enjoyed much of each episode, though there were a few spells that coasted. I think it has justified a full series.
