A good afternoon movie when you just want to forget about the troubles if the world. I love Tyler Perry's character, Madea. I just wish she was the focus of this one. The Madea movies are NOT made to take too seriously. Just sit back and relax.
Loved Brad Pitt and the cinematography was amazing, but someone will need to explain this movie to me. I get some of the symbolism, however, the majority of the nature shots are over my head.
I enjoyed this, calm but suspenseful drama. No car crashes but several action sequences build to a quest for answers. What happened to Clifford? What happened to his crew? Is there other life besides humans out there?
Roy's (Pitt) narration makes this an insightful look into our human existence.
A must movie for any Brad Pitt fan (as he is in almost every scene).
Much better than his fellow Hollywood friend's astronaut characters (The Martin, and Gravity). Pitt can top them all.
James Gray surpasses Kubrick's film 2001 in authenticity and production.
