  • Horrible

Started watching this movie with low expectations and it somehow managed to under deliver even then. Bad writing, bad performances and bad editing makes this movie jard one sit through. The story doesn't move at all and remains stand still. Almost feels like most of the user reviews here are fake as there's no way in hell that someone would rate this movie 5+.

  • A Huge let down

Went in to watch this movie with low expectations after hearing feedback from my friends. Even with ultra low expectations, this movie fell even below that. The screenplay is pathetic, bad storyline. Editing is even worse, and dialogues look like they have been written by a 10 year old. The way the movie has been directed fails to pull you in even for a second. People are singing praises of the first 15 mins with Srk's cameo. To be frank, the way that scene has been written and executed felt extremely naive. Attention to details is missing throughout the movie with various plot holes. With such poor writing, editing and direction, all the actors also fail to deliver. Mouni Roy has done a decent job with her role, but nothing extraordinary. Atraverse as a concept looked good on paper, but the movie does nothing to explore that world. We aren't introduced to characters properly. The names of the villains that are given in a taunting manner by srk in the start, become their real names throughout the movie, even the villains themselves call each other by that name. This taunting and sarcastic tone goes throughout the movie and fails miserably to gather your attention. It feels like various scenes were shot with no vision in mind and everything was then stitched together. VFX are good, they look good on big screen but I found the vision lacking in those scenes as well. Powers are showcased, but never used in the fight until the climax. Climax does give you a treat but still results in disappointment as they are still fighting using poor dialogues. Oh god, what a huge mess-up. And they are going to make 2 more of these.

If you have a younger one, under 12 years of age, they will enjoy the movie. Otherwise, save you time, effort and money and take you family for an outing somewhere else.
