Low expectations met within 30 seconds. Persisted with it to my shame which makes me fear for my own future. What will become of me if this is the dirge I fill my life with? Silly cartoon violence that our hero survives with a couple of blemishes rather than broken jaw, missing teeth. The script, such as it is, is awkward and strained. The cast deliver the lines in that knowledge, the hesitant embarrassment obvious. CGI is retrograde, akin to a Lifetime movie at best. Every cliche raided. As action, it's a flop, suspense- flop, entertainment- flop. Only redeeming feature is that it does end at some point. Forgettable drivel that shames the platform host, like much of it these days.
We have some Russian terrorists again, they are literally behind everything in Europe! The scene is a terror attack on a football stadium. There is quite a bit of swearing for realism but it sounds forced. The comedy character neither says or does anything even borderline amusing but the delivery suggests we should be cracking up. A man with special skills saves the day. Plenty of material here for Mythbusters to investigate- plastic explosive stuck to a phone then shoot it in lieu of a detonator for example, or an instance of a utility asbestos face.
It is frustrating that such risible junk is made to be endured by a suffering audience. The money spent on this could have made something decent if only there was the will or the imagination to do so. Instead a pound store Die Hard imposter of no merit unless watched in 5 minute bursts to avoid watching adverts elsewhere.
