Most movies if you don't get me within the first 10 minutes, I'm out. First of all I'm a fan of dystopian and post apocalypse movies, so it got my attention for over 10 minutes, there were deep sigh moments (the can we get the story moving sighs), but it kept me watching, and after a certain point I felt committed to see it through to the end. While I was watching I'm thinking to myself, is it so bad that I'm watching or is it just good enough to keep me watching, whether it's the former or the latter, I didn't regret the watch, but I wish I would've watched a better movie with that time, talk about opportunity costs!!! If you're watched out on the latest or streaming and you want to watch something for the sake of watching, this isn't a bad fare, keep in mind it's a low budget movie with decent writing and decent acting and the story keeps going just enough for you to not bail out.
Looking for something new to watch and I'm like what the heck is this? Never heard of this show must've been on an obscure cable channel then when I googled it found out it was a Canadian show. It's married with children meets family guy meets South Park. So glad I found this gem. Highly recommend to anyone that loves low brow humor and aren't PC. And for those that gave it a low rating what the heck were you expecting? An animated Masterpiece theatre? I wish some of these wannabe roger eberts would create a show so we can critique their masterpiece. To them I ask the question if you rated it so low why did you keep watching? Or are you one of those people that want to be different and bring the average rating down?
My father was a veteran of the Korean War. I'm Korean American. I met many American Korean war veterans and they talk like him, they're hard ass softies. Tough exterior with a heart of gold love how he slowly allowed himself to be himself. A must watch don't listen to the PC police we must know there are people that talk like him in real life. The problem with PC police is that they think they're protecting us from the world sheen we should know these type of things exist. He exposed the Asian hate culture before it happened. A totally definite must watch.
