It was lovely to get reimmersed in the Wicked world. The colours are so bright in the film, and the actors are really good. However, the first film set the standard really high for me. I was a bit disappointed in that sense. The songs were not as impactful and memorable as in the first film and the plot was just a bit flat.

Since I watched "The Island" I couldn't stop thinking about it. I love when movies have that effect.

The film sets the scene really well and introduces our main character. There's a lot of intrigue at the beginning like: What happened to these people? Why are they wearing they all wearing the same white jumpsuits? Where is the "the Island"? What does it look?

The residents in the facility participate in a lottery each week to win a trip to the Island. The main character Lincoln Six Echo starts to question where do they really go and how do more people keep appearing in the facility.

Without giving the whole plot away, I will say the plot twists are amazing, theres a lot of suspense around the mystery of the Island and a lot of action packed scenes.

The film ponders on ethical questions and billionaire wealth and leaves you reflecting on those.

Definite must watch!
