After watching season 1 I gave this show a 7. I've just finished season 2 and going into season 3 and all I can think is: I'm 100% sure that the writers don't have a single idea of the direction of the series!
So I changed my rating to 5.
I feel like season 2 had so many confusing stuff going on that made no sense in both timelines that no one in that writers room know what to do next. It feels like they write ideas down on a paper, put them in a bag and then draw one for each episode, whether it makes sense following what happened before or not. The symbol that keeps showing...they have no idea what meaning to give to it.
They are making all the characters so unlikable, so unrelatable that I'm sure people will give up on the show. The stories make no sense and are so absurd...yes, the plane crashing and them having to do what they need to survive is sort of believable, but then the 25 years later one...it seems like a joke.
Then all the gruesome stuff...I do understand they have to show what they did to survive but still think some parts are not needed.
From comments I've figured season 3 is even worse but I'm give it a try since I'm super curious to know what happens to Shauna in both timelines and how can they still go for Lottie's crap.
Anyway, I'm not super excited for this 3rd season and again, I'm certain the writers don't know what to do with the characters.
I'm sure the show will be canceled at some point and we'll end up with a terrible ending for it without explanation for so many things.
The only thing good that came out of this show so far is that the actresses are doing an incredible work and definitely carrying the show on their shoulders.

I'm a big fan of Jane Austen's stories so I was very excited to watch this show. It really surprised me in a positive way since the ending is not as expected in most Austen's stories. I loved the more realistic way how things happened.
I think the story is well developed but sometimes confusing because of the relationships between each character. However I think they lacked exploring how Sanditon was being turned into a thermal town by focusing to much on different love-stories at the same time.
It's worth watching.
I was quite disappointed with this movie. I love Michaela Cole's work because it's always so "straight to the point" and true but this... I get it is a musical, but the music is what makes the movie boring.
The plot is good but not well developed and there are way too many stories happening at the same time. Also, all those stories make no sense and it's hard to find a guiding line that connects all those characters.
However it's beautifully performed and shot. The actors are fabulous and I'm sure if this was on a stage in any theatre I would've loved everything from beginning to end. But the fact it is a film, it fails on transmitting to the viewers the emotion of the characters or the place where those feelings and actions come from.
I had to watch it in "instalments" so I wouldn't lose focus and actually appreciate the story.
It isn't a waste of time to watch if, like me, you pay attention to the performances, storyline or scenery and believe a bad story well performed is better than a great story underperformed.
