Every frame of this film is pure beauty. The music, cinematography, direction, and story all come together perfectly, but what stands out most is the chemistry between Mescal and O'Connor. There isn't a single element out of place; everything blends seamlessly, guiding you through a romantic and melancholic journey with grace. If you're a romantic at heart, this film is a must-watch.
Clint, you did it again! What a fine film this is! It's a court drama with a gut-wrenching feel. What is the right or wrong of things? The moral of doing what you are supposed to do or living a life with remorse for the rest of your life. It's a great story with a twist right at the beginning of the film, but Eastwood's direction is what it does best, keeping a compelling story throughout until the last running time second of the film. Everyone gave fine performances, especially Hoult and Collette. Hoult was fantastic and believable and in one of the scenes. He was trying to keep a composed and not burst into tears. His eyes just shone so blue. Anyway, this is a great film, so I was surprised it was limited released and got on a streaming service quickly.
A real pain! It's NOT a pain watching this gem! It is by far the best picture of the year! I still have several movies to watch this season, but I can't tell you that none of these films will be better than this one. It is an outstanding story, heartfelt! Jesse Eisenberg should get a nomination for best actor, and Kieran Culkin should be the best supporting actor. Indeed, these two performances were phenomenal, especially by Eisenberg. I love the cinematography, script, and music, which I love it. I can't say enough how good this film is! You won't be disappointed! It's a lovely movie that will touch your heart!
