The show is too underrated. Is it because it is created by flat- faced people? Besides Japanese love of fan service and exposed Lucius sexiness a lot, the setting and story is in Hollywood level. The knowledge about the Roman is so vast, and I'm glad that they use white people and funny enough showing black guys as slaves. I don't get too much laugh of it but it is story rich and interesting whenever Lucius stuck and get the solution of it. Japanese manga always passionate about their culture and the mangaka is smart by combining Western and Japanese culture. Although Lucius copied Japanese blatantly but still make sense in the Ancient Roman. Although it is from seinen manga, I find Mami is like your typical pure, innocent shoujo manga heroine. And we have the bishonen Lucius and Ceionius that their interaction is gonna make shippers gone wild. So basically, it is great adaptation of manga, glad they make it before the Hollywood ruin it, such a simple story but fun to watch. Not original idea since time travelling is kinda used a lot in manga but still it is entertaining.
