Started off with the usual girl in a big city going home for Christmas, then the final outcome was obvious. Sadly we had to sit through another hour of dull filler , which we left on in the background.

It didn't help that the lead sounded like a sped up chipmunk. The father supposedly still worked although he was clearly in his 70s. We can normally persevere until the end , but not this time. How some people rate it as a 10 beggars belief.

The start was promising, lots of action and Jude law turning up to a new job seemed to be a good lead in. It was well filmed, the cinematography looked realistic. Then it started to tail off. It became very, very plodding and slow. In fact, my wife abandoned it before me and said you watch it. It's not really doing anything for me. I lasted about another 15 minutes and then I just got particularly bored with it. It wasn't grabbing me it wasn't holding my attention so what more can I say disappointing, slow and got worse as time went on. My advices don't waste your time.

It has all the ingredients to be good, with a decent enough cast but somehow misses the mark. I had seen a few clips on YouTube and thought it was going be excellent and certainly taken in isolation, some of the scenes are very good , but as a whole it's just ploddingly slow. It never seems to go anywhere, the characters just seem to play the same roles all the time with the same joke repeated over and over again. So basically it's a supposedly funny line, the characters then look at each other knowingly there we go again repeat repeat repeat then the mother , oh the kids are home make a fuss of them repeat repeat repeat it's just tedious and uninviting and slow to be honest so we watched a couple of episodes I just gave up through boredom.
